Any Ideas?

I tried Backfire+flare (didnt work)
I tried Hex Breaker+Empathy+Backfire (didnt work)

I have desert armor. Help Me

Use this one.

Cast empathy then backfire. Add some elemental mantras. Leave the other skill areas blank. Move rapidly from side to side to dodge his attacks or use distortion if you have it. And he'll kill himself in no time.

pump up fire, use some big time AOE dmg dealer (or ice or light or earth)and echo it, then spam flare (or light strike or ice spear or whatever), i heard this works very well
When usig Backfire you have to find a skill bar that allows him to use every skill before backfire runs out i have yet to found out a good group of skills for this

using this i can get the dopple down to 1/4 life max.

I tried this just now and it failed at half life. I retried, and casted the energy glyph then arcane echo before going in...failed. I then retried and added distortion (died at 1/2 life as well).

maybe ele/me at level 12 isnt possible

Bring a few useless attunements, Backfire, Flare, Conjure Phantasm. Put all your attribute is whatever is linked to Backfire. Then cast Backfire as soon as possible, then spam conjure Phantasm and run around in circles. Try bringing a few other skills with short cast/regcharge times too.

Careful though, u gotta wait 10 seconds to cast conjure again or backfire WILL rip you apart

Actually the first time I did it was when I was level 9 and brought Meteor Shower, I managed to get one off before dying and I just waited until the mirror guy died. I got the 50,000xp or whatever, got boosted upto about level 15 then destroyed him.
